March Membership Meeting
The March monthly meeting will be Tuesday, March 23, 2010. We will be in the lovely home of Mrs. Cheryl Bourne at 1 Olney Place at 6:00 p.m. Invitations will be mailed out to those prospects whose names and addresses have previously been submitted. Buddy McDonald, former District Attorney, will be our guest speaker. Mr. McDonald is a great motivational speaker. We encourage all members to be present and those interested in learning more about the Marion County Republican Women. See you March 23rd at 6:00 p.m.
Support Your Troops! Bring in old cell phones. This is a state MFRW project. Show your support by digging in drawers, toy boxes, ask friends, family members and co-workers for old phones. Calling cards will be purchased to send to troops overseas so they can "Call Home". Please help out with this project. 52 cell phones have been collected at this point. This is such a good project to help our troops and their families to be able to talk to one another. Time will end at state convention for this project.

Other projects the MCRW will be involved in is a mentor program, SEVEN and bringing pet food and items to the local animal shelter. Be watching for future updates.
The new MFRW logo pins will be available at the March meeting. They are $5.00.
Our new MCRW t-shirt design is completed. Pins with our "own" design will be available at the March meeting also. Elizabeth McManus, designer for Pearlgirls by Liz did a great job. Elizabeth is from Petal, MS. These pins are $5.00 also.
